Topanga Bubbles: Cousins

This is the story of our adventures -- every day and extraordinary; our dreams -- tiny and grand; our gardens -- ornamental and sustaining; this is the story of our journey. We are a family of four living a mindful, simple life here in Los Angeles County. We are green, conscious, and forward thinking. We keep an eye on the past because some of the best things have already been done and bear repeating. Cousins

All eight of them! From left: Nicky, 7 (and a half), Danny, 6 (almost 7), Greggie, 2 (and a half, and out of order), Ari, 5 (and a half), Nathan, 1 (almost 2, also out of order -- he and Greggie are the Terrible Two's I guess!), Sara, 4 (and a half), Alex, 4, and Charlotte, 3 months. For about 2 months from late October until late December, 2009 (from Charlotte's birthday until Alex's) they will be 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1! They will also all start school one year apart through Nathan. Then it will likely be two years until Charlotte can start. So far we have Nicky in second grade, Danny in first, and Ari in kindergarten.

While that is the best picture of them all in a row, there is something about this one I really like:
